Our second outing focused on physical health and exercise. We started out by doing some stretches and talking about possible exercises we could do to stay fit without a gym. One of the quieter students actually got down and started doing perfect push-ups to demonstrate. Another student immediately got down and started doing clapping push-ups! Afterwards, we played basketball and discovered that some of the students were really good. We also did some yoga and basic martial arts since two of our coaches have experience in them and were willing to teach everyone. Although it was a tiring today, all of us had a great time and got to know each other better. While this group usually likes to be active, their favorite part of the outing was actually just sitting and talking to the coaches.
